Group Meditation and Practice
World Center for Peace and Unity offers retreats for beginners and those who want to advance the practice. The teachings will be given by Dr. Trungram Gyalwa Rinpoche or his personally appointed excellent teachers from all over the world. Anyone seeking peace of mind is welcome, whether or not they have religious beliefs.
Each group can use the spacious meditation hall alone with cushions provided. We also provide meditation guidance for any interested group. The length of time can be chosen by you by making an appointment in advance.
Guided meditation can make you a happier, healthier, and more balanced person, why not doing it? In fact, many of us have given up meditation because it seems impossible to calm our minds down, or we are uncertain if we are “doing the right thing.” Fortunately, with guided meditation, you don’t have to do it alone, and it’s not that complicated to do. All you have to do is listening. The Center provides instructional meditation for our beginners who can perform at least 5 minutes of meditation based on recordings, music or verbal instructions, or a combination of the two. When you listen to the guidance, you actually enter your subconscious mind, which is the main driving force for creativity, healing, self-improvement and self-authorization.
Since ancient times, people have been doing sitting meditation and walking meditation. Sitting too long is not good for health, so you need to walk, and you can also use walking as your meditation goal. So there is a so-called Stupa circumambulation. Circumambulating the Buddhist tower is, in fact, a kind of walking meditation. People are rushing in the modern times, and now they can learn the way of walking meditation in the Holy Land.
