The Meaning of Donation
The Buddha taught that giving is the basic practice for those who wish to enter the Bodhisattva. While this is not the only way to express generosity, giving material resources can help achieve our mission—to teach the skills of spiritual awareness in order to benefit the world.
Donations can accumulate merits for ourselves, and also help the Buddha’s teachings to be passed on for a long time, benefiting more people, just as Ashoka used to do.
Donations will also benefit future generations. Dedicate your merits to the next generation, leave your name at the World Center for Peace and Unity, and your descendants will be here for a number of reasons. When they visit the center, they became connected to the birthplace of the Buddha. Therefore, your generous donation is to plant a deep seed for all future generations.
The World Center for Peace and Unity relies on your every support regardless of your contribution. It will contribute to the long-term stable growth of the center. We sincerely thank you for your generocity. Please also send this message to everyone around you, especially people you care about, the more, the better, helping them accumulate merits.
Please join us to work together to make the World Center for Peace and Unity a spiritual home for more people so that everyone can enjoy peace and serenity here.
